SALTO Wall Readers

SALTO has a range of wired wall readers to suit all situations, used mainly for locking external doors in conjunction with a magnetic or electronic lock they can also be used to control any electrical equipment such as car park barriers and lifts or simply as a “hotspot” network update point.

SALTO wall readers act as an update point for the virtual network, downloading user data, battery conditions and excluded users and updating user access rights for a defined time period allowing full network control without the need to cable the complete building.

SALTO XS4 2.0 Reader with Keypad

The new 2.0 reader and keypad is the latest design by SALTO, fully compatible with all XS4 products this new design is sleek and modern looking. Capacitive keypad – operating modes Keycard only, Keycard plus pin, Code only. Suitable for the Virtual network and NFC options its available in white or black finish. Acoustic and visual signals - green/red visual indicators to show access authorisation. Version 2.0 reader requires connection to a door controller via cat5e cable either networked or stand-alone. IP66 suitable for internal and external applications.

SALTO XS4 RFID Narrow Profile Mullion Wall Reader

This contactless narrow wall reader by SALTO is for flush mounting, and has been specifically manufactured to work with doors that have a narrow profile frame and in scenarios where there is not enough room to install a normal wall reader. The wall reader gets information from the carrier and then communicates it to the control unit. You can also update the carriers through the wall readers via the SALTO Virtual Network.

With the online version which is also available, the XS4 Energy Saving Device is able to give real-time indication of the presence of guests or staff in a location, and logs the data directly into the PC of the hotel.
