The Exidor 9870 Electro-Hydraulic Door Closer is perfect for use where low opening forces are required, such as care homes, hospitals or where the Equality Act has to be considered.
This product has a fixed power size 4, which lets the door open without resistance from the closer when fitted in swing free mode. Although, when the fire alarm of the building is triggered, the power to the unit is cut, and the closer shuts the door.
Comes with a plug on power loop for easy fitting.
Comes complete with figures 1, 61 and 66 brackets for universal fixing.

14 April 2014, 11:05 amThe product is slightly different to the image, the ends are square rather than round although both are available for the same price apparently. No big issue and the closer works as described with the fire alarm system.
