SALTO’s new 2.0 reader is fully compatible with all XS4 products. It is suitable for the Virtual Network and NFC options, with both acoustic and visual signals to show access authorisation. The reader requires connection to a door controller via cat5e cable, either networked or stand-alone. It is IP66 suitable for internal and external applications.

SALTO XS4 Energy Saving Device
SALTO has designed an extensive range of Energy Saving Devices, or ESDs, to help cut electricity usage for buildings that typically have limited control over the behaviour of users. This can include hotels and shared living spaces. Its ESD enables buildings to adjust lighting and air conditioning systems via an authorised SALTO keycard, and the XS4 Energy Saving Device gives real-time indication of the presence of guests or staff in a location, logging the data directly into the PC of the building (such as a hotel) and giving the power to cut energy use by up to 65%.
