The Codelocks CL515 Stainless Steel Mortice Latch is supplied with a heavy duty tubular Mortice latch and code free option. When the right code is inputted, the external level handles will retract the latch and when the door is closed, the spring loaded latchbolt automatically locks.

In Code Free mode the external lever will retract the latchbolt without needing the code. This function is perfect for day to day use when keying in a code is not needed e.g. external doors in a school with high traffic.

The CL515 locks are supplied with a random code commencing with the “C” clear button. To change the code after fitting, the lock must first be removed from the door. The code is non sequential, that is the code can be entered in any order e.g. 1234 can be 4321 or 1342 or whatever is the most convenient sequence. With the 13 buttons a total of 8,191 different codes are available, any of which may be entered in any order.

The heavy duty mechanical locks have fantastic features such as full size lever handles, allowing use as the primary lock on most doors especially in high traffic situations, but the Codelocks CL515 Satin Stainless Steel Mortice Latch with Passage Function offers more than that for example there is an option of ‘anti’ shim deadlocking plunger.
