The DeedLock AEM501F-1F is a hold open door magnet for floor mounting that has been designed for use on internal fire doors and will hold a door in the open position against the doors closing device force. This hold open door magnet should be fitted in conjunction with the fire alarm for the building so that when the alarm is sounded the electromagnet will automatically be de-activated meaning that the door will then close under the force of the door closer that is installed onto the door.
