Description

The Codelocks CL415 Stainless Steel Mortice Latch With Passage Function has an outside lever handle which will retract the latch after a correct code is inputted. The spring loaded latchbolt will automatically locked when the door is shut.

Code Free access option on the keypad

In Code Free mode the external lever will retract the latchbolt without needing the code. This function is perfect for day to day use when keying in a code is not needed e.g. external doors in a school with high traffic.

The CL415 locks are supplied with a random code commencing with the "C" clear button. To change the code after fitting, the lock must first be removed from the door. The code is non sequential, that is the code can be entered in any order e.g. 1234 can be 4321 or 1342 or whatever is the most convenient sequence. With the 13 buttons a total of 8,191 different codes are available, any of which may be entered in any order.

The Codelocks CL415 really is a superb product, well engineered and waterproof. Before fitting read instruction carefully and familiarise yourself with the parts and how they connect together. Warning: the template is not accurate as it does not place the lock axis in the right place. To correct this, place the seal over the template and draw a line round the oblong slot (it should be lower down). All in all a very good product and I recommend it to others particularly at the Mechlite price.
