In an event of a fire emergency, obviously people will be panicking and finding the nearest way to exit out of the building. In order to prevent people struggling to open a door to free themselves, the panic push bar is an excellent product to use. The mechanism consists of a spring-loaded metal bar fixed horizontally to the inside of an external opening door; you just have to push the bar to open the door. It is reliably secure and suits all applications with fire safety code requirements. What's unique about AC Leigh is that you can filter by the number of locking points and measurements your panic push bar should have to match your requirements. You can even look through our collection of panic push pads and outside access devices available for you at very competitive prices. To ensure that your panic bar is in full legal compliance, it must cover at least 60% of the door leaf width. Although our push bars are suitable for doors 900mm to 2500mm if you find they are too long they can be cut to size on site.
