The DeedLock AEM501F-1D is a high quality hold open door magnet for wall mounting that has been designed for use on internal fire doors and will hold a door in the open position against the doors closing device force. This hold open door magnet comes in a stainless steel finish and it is advised that it should work in conjunction with the fire alarm of a building so that when the alarm is sounded the electromagnet will be de-activated meaning that the door will then close under the force of the door closer that is installed onto the door.
